RENTERS' RULES AND REGULATIONS

RESERVATIONS

Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible.  Reservations will only be held with a 20% non-refundable down payment of your charter fee including tax.  The balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to departure.  We prefer payment by MasterCard, or Visa: however, Discover, and American Express will be accepted with a 5% surcharge added.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please notify us in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to your boarding date.  Payment will be refunded less your non-refundable deposit.  Cancellations received less than thirty (30) days prior to departure are subject to forfeiture of total prepayment.  Reschedule your vacation during the same year, there is a $100 facilitating fee.  Any rescheduling will be on off-season weekends or weekdays that are available.  We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies as a cause for cancellation.  There are no rebates for late departures or early returns.  Once vessel departs dock, no adjustments will be made to rental rates as a result of adverse or inclement weather or lake conditions.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A credit card MUST be available for a security deposit prior to departure. Your credit card deposit will only be necessary if any damages are assessed at the end of the charter.  Inventories are checked prior to departure and again at end of charter.  Any items unaccounted for will be charged against your credit card deposit.  All cooking gear is part of the boat's inventory.  A cleaning fee of $200 will be assessed if the vessel is not returned in reasonable condition.

SUPPLIES

All of our vessels are equipped with most of the necessities most people require.  We recommend bringing whatever you may need in the way of consumable kitchen supplies such as paper towels, paper plates, large garbage bags etc.  We stock the boat with special marine toilet paper, Kleenex, coffee filters, and dishwasher detergent.  In order to conserve on limited water supply, you should consider using the washing machine only if parked dockside.  Please make sure the detergent you bring is PHOSPHATE FREE.  Otherwise, bring whatever personal items including bath soaps, shampoos, suntan lotions, insect repellents, beach towels, fishing equipment, binoculars, videos for the kids, floats, portable radios, etc, you may need to make your stay enjoyable.  The boat has electric power just like your home; so feel free to bring anything you would normally plug into an electrical outlet.  Be sure to bring your cell phone charger.  We also provide United States Coast Guard approved life jackets for all passengers including children.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

Renter must be responsible adult (21 or over).  Departure times are set in advance and must be adhered to unless special arrangements have been made at least two (2) weeks prior to rental date. No pets or fireworks are allowed onboard.  Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas.  Smoking inside the boat or on the lower decks of the boat is strictly prohibited.  Maximum daytime occupancy for parties depends of the vessel.  If any of our vessels are on the lake with more than the approved number of persons, we reserve the right to board the vessel and return it to the Marina.  Remainder of rental time will be forfeited and damages, cleaning fees, etc. will be charged against deposit.

OTHER RULES, REGULATIONS, AND INFORMATION

Due to insurance restrictions, our vessels require an approved captain to pilot the boat; but he is NOT required to stay onboard after the boat is parked for the day.  In order to ensure that a captain is available when you need him, please set your basic cruising itinerary at lease two (2) weeks prior to your departure.

While on the lake, communication is always available via VHF ship to shore radio.  For added convenience, your cellular phone can be plugged in at the helm via cigarette lighter adapter or charged anywhere onboard with a standard 110v charger.

Children under 13 MUST wear lifejackets at all times during the charter.
NO PETS are allowed on any Fastrac vessel or docks.
NO FIREWORKS are allowed on any Fastrac vessel or docks.
NO FIREARMS are allowed on any Fastrac vessel or docks.
