Charter Rules and Regulations

RESERVATIONS

We require a major credit card for all reservations. Renters must be a responsible adult twenty-one (21) year old or older. Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible, particularly in the summer months when dates fill up quickly. Reservations will only be held with a 20% non-refundable down payment of your charter fee including tax. The balance is due fifteen (15) days prior to departure. Reservations made within fifteen (15) days require full-payment at the time the reservation is made.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please notify us in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to your boarding date. Payment will be refunded less your non-refundable deposit and any applicable fees. Cancellations received less than thirty (30) days prior to departure are subject to forfeiture of total pre-payment.

If you reschedule your charter in the same calendar year, we will apply your non-refundable deposit to the new reservation, less any applicable charges. Any rescheduling will be subject to availability. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies as a cause for cancellation.

There are no refunds for late departures or early returns. Once the vessel departs from the dock, no adjustments will be made to rental rates as a result of adverse or inclement weather or lake conditions.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A photocopy or imprint of your credit card MUST be available for a security deposit prior to departure. Your credit card deposit will only be necessary if any damages are assessed at the end of the charter. Inventories are checked prior to departure and again at end of charter. Any items unaccounted for will be charged against your credit card deposit. All cooking gear is part of the boat's inventory. A cleaning fee of $200 will be assessed if the vessel is not returned in reasonable condition.

SUPPLIES

All of our vessels are equipped with most of the necessities people require. We recommend bringing whatever you may need in the way of consumable kitchen supplies such as paper towels, paper plates, cups, large garbage bags etc. We stock the boat with special marine toilet paper and Kleenex. Otherwise, bring whatever personal items including suntan lotions, insect repellents, beach towels, fishing equipment, binoculars, videos for the kids, floats, portable radios, etc., you may need to make your stay enjoyable.

The boat has electric power just like your home; feel free to bring anything you would normally plug into an electrical outlet. Be sure to bring your cell phone charger.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

Departure times are set in advance and must be adhered to unless special arrangements have been made at least two (2) weeks prior to rental date.

OTHER RULES, REGULATIONS, AND INFORMATION

Due to insurance restrictions, our vessels require an approved captain to pilot the boat; but he is NOT required to stay onboard after the boat is parked for the day. In order to ensure that a captain is available when you need him, please provide us your basic cruising itinerary at lease two (2) weeks prior to your departure.

It is the sole discretion of the Captain to cancel a trip at anytime due to weather, imminent danger, misconduct, breach of agreement, or for any other reason the Captain sees fit. No refunds will be issued.

We provide United States Coast Guard approved life jackets for all adult passengers. Children under 13 MUST wear lifejackets at all times during the charter. Youth Jackets may be rented for $5.00 per jacket. We cannot provide Life Jackets for Infants. It is your responsibility to provide USCG approved life jackets for infants.

While on the lake, communication is always available via VHF ship to shore radio. For added convenience, your cellular phone can be plugged in at the helm via cigarette lighter adapter or charged anywhere onboard with a standard 110v charger.
